Job Description

Reporting to the Site Agent. You will be responsible for:

• Setting out of the finishing trades.
• Tiling, carpentry (doors, skirtings, dado rails,architraves , curtain tracks, bathroom fixtures, door stops etc), ceilings and partitioning (suspended ceilings, brandered ceilings and plastered ceilings), drywall partitioning, aluminium doors and windows, carpeting, wallpapering, electrical final fixes (switches and light fittings).
• The scheduling or programming of the finishing trades.
• Management of the erection and disassembly of scaffolding for specialist trades.
• Responsible for the overall quality of all finishes.
• Completion of snag list items to the satisfaction of the architect or client.

• Must be able to use a dumpy level
• Must be able to read and interpret architectural working drawings and finishing schedules.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of his area of operation.

• Must be well experienced and competent from foundation phase to handing over to finishing team.
• Experienced in bulk building.
• Experienced up to roof and plastering
• Ability to read and understand drawings.

Salary/Package

R 250 000 to R 300 000 Cost to company per annum
