Job Description

Your responsibilities will be the following:

• Responsible for detailed design of product parts and modules, using 3D CAD/CAE modelling.
• Create 2D drawings for all disciplines including cabinet making and metal assembly.
• Create 3D models and Information Modelling.
• Prepare Technical Drawings
• Work with other designers and departments to ensure specifications are clear and complete
• Interpretation of design requirements/specifications
• Ability to produce clear and informative production drawings and technical information Works systematically to ensure completion of tasks to meet deadlines and clients` expectations.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills Ability to effectively prioritize workload Proficient as a team player with excellent communication skills, but also able to work on own initiative.
• Provide innovative, cost-effective mechanical design solutions in response to technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Diploma / Associate degree in Draughting

Skills

• Minimum 5 years` experience
• 2D and 3D, Solidworks
• MS Office
• Mechanical engineering design skills
• Must be computer literate with an ability to learn new programs with relative ease.

Salary/Package

R15,000 – R20,000
