About the Role

As an Intermediate Fullstack Developer with experience in Quasar/Vue.js and Node.js, you will be responsible for the full development lifecycle of web applicationsfrom concept to delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Quasar/Vue.js (front-end) and Node.js (back-end).
• Feature Ownership: Take ownership of complex features and modules, providing end-to-end solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Database Management: Develop and optimize NoSQL databases such as ArangoDB, and implement data storage strategies for high-volume data handling.
• API Development: Design, build, and maintain secure and efficient RESTful and WebSocket APIs to support seamless communication between front-end and back-end services.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and improve application performance through effective code optimization, caching strategies, and best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Code Quality: Participate in peer code reviews, ensure coding standards are adhered to, and implement testing strategies (unit, integration, and performance tests) to ensure high-quality deliverables. Familiarity with Test Driven Development is advantageous.
• Security Focus: Implement and enforce best security practices, including input validation, encryption, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively suggesting improvements to processes, tools, and development practices.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in Node.js and Vue.js/Quasar, with a deep understanding of modern web development practices and architectures.
• API & WebSocket Expertise: Proficient in developing, consuming, and maintaining APIs, including WebSocket communications for real-time applications.
• Database Mastery: Expertise in designing, optimizing, and scaling NoSQL databases, particularly ArangoDB.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms and services, ensuring applications are scalable and secure.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical issues.
• Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control and experienced with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• UX/UI Consideration: An eye for detail when it comes to UI/UX, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and seamless user journeys.

Experience & Education

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Fullstack development, with a focus on Node.js and Quasar/Vue.js frameworks.
• Experience in designing and developing large-scale applications, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
