CORE PURPOSE OF JOB The processing of all salary related instructions onto the payroll system, to ensure that staff are remunerated timeously and correctly in accordance with relevant policies and legislative requirements. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Timeous verification and processing of below listed salary instructions in accordance with relevant policies and legislative requirements: Earnings Deductions Allowances To ensure the electronic short-term contract appointments are generated correctly onto the Payroll System including the management and capturing of claims against these contracts Capturing of AD-Hoc Payments on ITS System to comply with SARS and finance requirements Administering and issuing of pay slips through the Info-Slip system To generate monthly reports of the entire payroll and verify the accuracy of the data. Reconciliations of the relevant reports and payroll control accounts in preparation for the timeous payment to third parties, i.e. medical aid funds, pension/ provident funds etc. Attend to all queries in terms of the Payroll Departments Service Level Agreement and standards set. Proper categorisation and storage of documents in line with current legislative requirements.
