- Identify and evaluate potential tender opportunities within the water treatment sector.
- Review and interpret the tender document.
- Ensuring compliance with all tender requirements and deadlines.
- Developing technical proposals and methodologies.
- Formulation of costings and costing templates / BOQ based on technical information and plant assessments.
- Obtaining required quotations and specification to populate costings and BOQs.
- Liaising with relevant internal departments to obtain required information to ensure the costings accuracy and component specifications
- Research equipment and products specifications and pricing for plant / system optimisation
- Contribute to the development and improvement of tender processes and templates
- Creating a costing and specification library
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
Qualification and Skill:
- Must have a Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Quantity Surveying diploma or a related field
- At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in the water treatment industry
- Strong computer literacy – Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Working proficiency in English
- Additional languages are a plus
- Experience in the manufacturing and fabrication environment is a plus.
