Job Summary
This role offers the perfect blend of autonomy, responsibility, and industry exposure. This is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and driving efficiency in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Duties:
- Keep the books balanced – maintain accurate records, process transactions & ensure spot-on reporting
- Bid Support – assist in the preparation of financial components for bid submissions
- Invoicing & Tracking – Monitor payments, track project costs and keep stakeholders updated
- Audit & Compliance – Ensure financial practices meet industry standards and assist during audit preparation
- Cash Flow & Expense Management – Keep your finger on the pulse, from tracking expenses to managing documentation and all things finance
Education and Experience:
- Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounting role
- Background in engineering, construction or consulting is a bonus – but not essential
- Technically confident with financial systems and MS Office tools
- A self-starter who can manage their own workload, especially with much of the team based in Johannesburg
