Job Description
Our client, a well-established financial services firm is urgently seeking a Finance Manager to join their Bellville.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations and month-end processes
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Manage VAT submissions and coordinate the annual audit process
- Provide financial insights and reports to senior management (Group FM and CFO)
- Lead and mentor junior finance staff, ensuring team efficiency and performance
- Maintain internal controls and support compliance requirements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting within group deadlines
- Support process improvements and implement best practices in finance
What Were Looking For:
- Qualified CA(SA) with Articles completed and at least 2 years post-audit experience
- BCom Accounting/Finance degree essential
- Experience with VAT and annual audits
- No insurance industry experience required (but a plus)
- Comfortable working in a finance environment outside insurance is welcome
- Caseware experience beneficial but not mandatory
- EE candidate (African) preferred management motivation possible if
