Duties:

• Create an environment of trust, open communication, creativity, and team cohesion.
• Provide a clear vision for the project and inspire team members.
• Guide, coach, and develop team members; identify areas for growth and facilitate training.
• Foster team collaboration, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus on solutions
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the team addresses all relevant project issues.
• Provide regular updates on team activities, project progress, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Maintain and enforce high coding standards and best practices.
• Package and support the deployment of releases; refine and tune integrations between applications.
• Drive continuous system improvements and assess opportunities for application and process enhancements.
• Maintain operational systems and internal applications; contribute to system engineering initiatives.
• Standardise technology components to Microsoft development frameworks.
• Own technical solutions and ensure development is aligned with client and system needs.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

 
Experience:
 

• 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in software development
• Experience with ASP.Net, C#, SQL, and JavaScript
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced development cycles
• Experience writing stored procedures and queries with MySQL or Microsoft SQL Serve
• Exposure to integration technologies such as XSD, XML, JSON, and EDI
• Experience with version control and deployment processes

 
Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical stack proficiency: C#.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server 2019, MySQL, NodeJS, REST API
• Skilled in system testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
• Effective team leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work flexible and unsociable hours
• Must have own reliable transport and home broadband connection
• Adaptability, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility
