This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in finance, legal compliance, or complex debt collection to grow within a reputable legal firm.Key Responsibilities: Conduct late-stage debt collection in line with company policies and applicable legal frameworks. Engage professionally with debtors via phone, email, and other approved communication channels. Negotiate and manage repayment arrangements while ensuring compliance with company policies. Support enforcement actions and manage cases through to finalisation. Handle complex matters such as liquidations, deceased estates, business rescue, and insolvent debt collection. Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation. Achieve daily and weekly collection KPIs. Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.Requirements Qualification: NQF Level 6 in Finance or Credit Control, Diploma in Paralegal Studies, or Diploma in Law. Experience: 23 years in debt collection, credit control, or a legal environment. Strong knowledge of liquidation, deceased estates, business rescue, and insolvency processes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
