Sales Executive (CPT)Media/Marketing/Sales
Cape Town – Western Cape – South Africa

ENVIRONMENT:
A dynamic provider of Cloud-based Operating Solutions seeks a Sales Executive with 3-5+ years in Sales roles within SaaS, custom software, digital transformation, or B2B technology sectors. This is an execution-focused role for a proactive sales professional who will contribute to commercial growth by identifying opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting client relationships, while working within a high-performance team. The ideal candidate must also have a suitable Degree or Diploma in Business/Marketing/IT or similar field with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets & experience in solution-selling and managing B2B sales cycles. You also need to be familiar with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and sales processes and have a solid understanding of South African public and private sector dynamics.
DUTIES:
Lead Generation and Prospecting (50% of role focus) –
  • Identify and qualify potential clients through research, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Generate leads via inbound inquiries, cold calling, email campaigns, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with company targets.
Sales Execution (40% of role focus) –
  • Conduct consultative sales presentations and demos to showcase bespoke software solutions.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company offerings.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to tailor proposals and respond to RFPs effectively.
Customer Relationship Management (5% of role focus) –
  • Nurture existing client relationships to drive upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact, providing ongoing support and gathering feedback.
  • Track client interactions in CRM systems to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
Market Intelligence and Support (5% of role focus) –
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute insights to the sales team and assist in refining sales strategies.
  • Support marketing efforts by providing field-level feedback and participating in campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
Experience/Skills
  • 3-5+ Years in Sales roles within SaaS, custom software, digital transformation, or B2B technology sectors.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in solution selling and managing B2B sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and sales processes.
  • Understanding of South African public and private sector dynamics.

ENVIRONMENT:

My client is a cutting-edge FinTech company revolutionizing the property rental space with a zero-deposit solution thats changing the game for agents, landlords, and tenants alike. Now, we are on the hunt for a Sales Executive whos not just hungry for results – but obsessed with creating and driving growth. Applicants will need a Degree/Post-graduate tertiary qualification in Business/Marketing with a minimum of 2 years experience in Business-to-Business sales ideally with real estate rental experience. You need to be a self-starter with strong negotiation skills who can achieve sales results with limited supervision.
DUTIES:
  • Sign-up new rental agencies to distribute the zero-deposit solution.
  • Meet (and exceed) sales targets by working with Agent Partners to sell the zero-product solution to landlords and tenants.
  • Manage existing Agent Partner relationships to grow the business.
  • Work closely with management to shape and deliver the sales strategy.
  • Have fun and grow the franchise.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
  • A Degree or Post-graduate qualification in Business or Marketing.
Experience/Skills
  • At least 2-years experience in Business-to-Business sales, ideally with real estate rental experience.
  • Ability to engage and establish a trusting relationship with senior stakeholders (CEO, Agent Principal, etc.) at Real Estate Agencies.
  • A self-starter who can achieve sales results with limited supervision.
  • An aptitude for analytics and the ability to use data to drive sales.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A relentless focus on customer-centricity.
