Requirements: Completed BCom Accounting degree (essential) Proven experience in full bookkeeping/accounting to trial balance Strong understanding of SARS submissions and related legislation Must hold a valid certification in Sage Pastel and be able to demonstrate practical experience using the software Excellent, accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills Key Responsibilities: Record and reconcile all transactions up to trial balance level Prepare monthly management accounts Handle all SARS submissions and reconciliations, including UIF, VAT, EMP501, and VAT control accounts Maintain HP bond and salary reconciliations Manage depreciation and fixed asset schedules Balance and reconcile loan accounts Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and Company procedures Liaison with the company’s auditors to facilitate the completion of the audit and annual financial statements
