Cape Town City Centre: HR Generalist CT

What youll be doing Manage the full HR function across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exit processes Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and grievance procedures in line with labour legislation Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, EE, and other relevant employment laws and regulations Oversee payroll input, leave administration, and employee record management Support line managers with HR policies, coaching, and best practice guidance Drive HR initiatives such as wellness, engagement, and training interventions Prepare HR reports, maintain HR systems, and contribute to audits and compliance checks Assist with Employment Equity submissions and Workplace Skills Plans What youll need 2 4 years proven HR generalist experience, ideally within services, security, or facilities industries Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR practices Relevant HR qualification (Diploma or Degree preferred) Excellent communication skills in English (Afrikaans or other African languages advantageous) Valid drivers license and own vehicle (required for business travel) Clear criminal record Strong organisational, problem-solving, and conflict management skills Ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders High attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset Gr 12 Certificate.
