Job Title: SHE Officer/Practitioner Reporting to: Operations Manager Seniority Level: Mid Career (2 – 4 yrs exp) Region: Gauteng Location: JHB – Eastern Suburbs Type: Contractor Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure company compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act Monitoring and reporting of unsafe situations, assisting in improvements implementation Prepare safety statistics, liaise with external safety organizations Ensure health and safety procedures adherence by employees/contractors Promote occupational health and safety, develop safer working ways Enforce the use of personal protective equipment in workplaces Identify work areas for potential accidents and health hazards Maintain a safe working environment according to OHS Act Qualifications: Grade 12 with English SHE Risk Management related training courses HIRA, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SAMTRAC/RISK MAQ Sectors: Engineering and Technical Functions: SHE Officer
