Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in data development and business intelligence
• Strong SQL Server skills (SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS)
• Proven expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dashboard/report design)
• Hands-on experience building cloud data solutions in Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Analysis Services)
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL workflows and performance tuning
• Able to work effectively in a collaborative, customer-facing environment
• Experience working in Agile development teams (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings 
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (advantageous): Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred)
• Microsoft Fabric, or other cloud platforms (Google BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS)
• Advanced analytics or machine learning exposure
• Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and deliver BI solutions using Microsoft Azure and Power BI
• Develop robust data pipelines, transformations, integrations, and models
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and turn data into actionable insights
• Lead and support junior team members in best-practice data delivery
• Optimise workflows for performance, governance, and scalability
• Contribute to cloud adoption, modernisation, and automation initiatives
• Ensure high standards of quality, reliability, and documentation
• Stay current with evolving Microsoft technologies and leverage new features
