Job Purpose

To manufacture, assemble, and maintain precision-engineered components by performing fitting, turning, and machining operations to support the company’s production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fitting and turning tasks on components to meet engineering specifications.
• Operate conventional lathes, milling machines, and other workshop equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, engineering sketches, and job specifications accurately.
• Machine, assemble, and finish components to tight tolerances.
• Inspect and measure completed parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Assist in the repair, maintenance, and modification of mechanical components and equipment.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain workshop tools, machinery, and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Trade Test Certificate: Fitter & Turner (essential).
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a precision engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Strong machining background with experience in turning, milling, drilling, and grinding.
• Knowledge of working with various metals and materials.
• CNC machining experience (advantageous).
