Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Administration (advantage)
- Minimum 2-4 years of administrative experience, preferably in a logistics environment
- Knowledge of transport coordination and warehouse processes
- Must be willing to work SHIFT WORK & WEEKEND
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Computer literate (MS Office; Excel proficiency essential)
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties within the logistics department (filing, data capturing, document control).
- Prepare, process, and track delivery notes, invoices, and shipping documentation.
- Assist in coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, including scheduling transport and liaising with drivers and service providers.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and dispatch documentation.
- Capture and update logistics data on internal systems (ERP, Excel, or company-specific software).
- Communicate with clients, warehouses, and suppliers regarding delivery schedules and queries.
- Support inventory management by reconciling stock records and highlighting discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly logistics reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to the logistics.
