South Africa: Print and Pre-press Supervisor – Offset Sheet-fed posted by Ultra Personnel

To ensure the efficient utilization of people materials and equipment in the manufacture of Litho packaging printing
Oversee and supervise the Pre-Press, Platemaking and Litho printing department
Ensure Layout and artwork accuracy and compatibility
Collaborate with Planning, Finishing and Raw Material departments to efficiently schedule and optimise printing capacity
Develop and ensure effective maintenance planning and execution of assets
Develop and implement colour and print management standards and systems
Facilitate problem-solving and continuous improvement sessions
Participate and lead product development initiatives  

Strong knowledge of offset presses, DTP processes, and printing techniques is crucial
Understanding of paper, inks, chemicals, and layout is also required
Supervisory and people management 
Ability to approve colour proofs to ensure work meets client specifications and technical standards
Provide technical advice to improve quality and effectiveness
Ability to communicate fluently in English

Offset Printing qualification Supervisory development program  
7-10yrs experience in operating a Sheet-fed offset printing press
