• Manage and lead the drawing department, including draftsmen and design staff
• Oversee the preparation of detailed technical drawings and 3D models
• Ensure design accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to client specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to support project requirements
• Review and approve drawings before submission or release for production
• Implement and maintain drafting standards, systems, and procedures
• Mentor and train junior draftsmen, promoting continuous improvement and skill development
• Monitor workloads, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely project delivery

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in drafting/design, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
• Proficient in CAD software SolidWorks
• Strong technical drawing and design interpretation skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
