An innovative engineering company is seeking a Mechatronic Engineer to join their team in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. The role involves end-to-end mechanical and electrical product and machine design, system development, and maintenance within a dynamic, hands-on environment. 

Education & Experience Required:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in mechatronic or related engineering roles.
• Proficiency in CAD design (SolidWorks or similar).
• Knowledge of PLC and VFD setup and programming.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

Key Duties:

• Design and develop integrated mechanical and electrical systems and products.
• Create and test machine designs, prototypes, and control systems.
• Program, configure, and commission PLC and VFD systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing machinery and systems.
• Contribute to both the functional and aesthetic aspects of product design.
• Perform hands-on work in the workshop when required.
