Machine Technician N/Subs  – Basic R30 000 neg plus P/Fund and free M/Aid

Job Title: Machine Technician

Report to: Manager

Level: Mid Career (4-6 yrs exp)

Type: Permanent

Region: Western Cape N/Subs

Duties and Responsibilities:

• On-site role with limited travel
• Required for urgent breakdowns or maintenance
• Technical qualification or Trade Test (Artisan preferred)
• Relevant certification in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic maintenance advantageous
• Minimum 5 years of practical maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and implementing maintenance procedures
• Hands-on experience working with pneumatics and PLCs
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and pneumatic equipment
• Electrical knowledge and familiarity with PLCs and automation systems
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance methodologies (e.g., TPM –Total Productive Maintenance)
• Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)

Must have experience of working on machines which run 24hours. Cosmetics / Pharma machines will be a plus
