Qualifications Required Essential:
* Blasting Certificate
* Grade 10/Standard 8
* Supervisory Certificate of Competency
* Advantageous: Mine Overseer’s Certificate of Competency.
* 3-4 Years of Supervisory experience within the underground mining stoping operations environment

Physical / Legal Requirements:
* Medically fit
* No Criminal record
* Heat Tolerance Screening

Technical Managerial Skills:
* Underground Mining production and safety management.
* Team performance management.
* Knowledge of the Mining production legal requirements.
* Safety, Health, and Environmental Management.
* Underground Mining Risk Management.
* Process optimization.
* Continuous improvement.
* Excellent planning skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Blasting Certificate – essential
• Shift Supervisor Certificate – essential
• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as an Underground Shift Supervisor
• Proven experience in coordinating and supervising underground production activities
• Medically fit to work underground
• Clear criminal record
