Job description: You will work in the IT solutions team within an Asset Management company. You will be responsible for analysing, designing, and building solutions that enable operations and business strategic goals. Your exceptional problem-solving ability combined with your broad technical knowledge and good understanding of the business will give you the toolset you need to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions. Your broad background should include software development, system integration, data design, data warehousing, networking, infrastructure, and cloud. Responsibilities: Define and document system architecture, aligning with enterprise architecture guidelines Integrate applications and data to create cohesive and consistent user experiences Optimise systems and infrastructure for performance, high availability, security, and cost effectiveness Work with software and data developers as well as system vendors to implement solutions Ensure that systems and processes meet regulatory requirements Propose IT solutions to company challenges Assess technologies and platforms Qualification: Information Systems or Relevant BSc degree Minimum requirements: Relevant degree 8 or more years experience as an IT professional Experience in software and data design Experience in system design and integration Experience in Cloud Strong numeracy Proven track record of project delivery Advantageous requirements: Broad experience in software development e.g. .Net/Java/Python Low code development Data warehousing Microsoft Azure Competencies required: Problem solving skills Dealing with complexity Planning/organising and coordinating skills Interpersonal skills (Interaction with different business divisions and level of management) Communication skills (verbal and written) Solutions driven Strong analytical skills Strong numeracy skills Industry specific knowledge
