Cape Town City Centre: Retail BDM

Key Responsibilities: Ongoing interaction with IFAs to drive net flows to the firms funds and to retain existing asset base Promotion of the firms brand and partner funds to advisors and LISPs Ensuring access on LISPs and facilitating the flows into the funds Monitoring of fund flows with the use of Coruscate (or similar) Maintaining a strong level of technical knowledge of the firms funds and business Requirements: Minimum of BCom graduate or similar qualification 3 years in a BDM role with research and/or financial sales related experience (preferably in asset management) Professional Qualification eg CFA, CAIA, CA (preferable) Strong numerate skills Established contact list of IFAs (preferable) Excellent capital markets general knowledge A demonstrable track record of investment acumen Professional with a strong work ethic Knowledge and insights gained from industry research and analysis of portfolios (advantageous)
