Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will support their client’s network infrastructure by implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems. They provide second-level support to the Help Desk and regional administrators, requiring expertise in operating systems, networking, and security. Responsibilities include issue documentation, monitoring for high uptime, and collaboration with IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Provider Liaison: Work with global providers to enhance JAS Worldwide Network.

• Security Policy Management: Build, configure, and audit firewall and SASE security policies.
• Security Posture Improvement: Enhance global security through segmentation and standardization.
• Policy Communication: Communicate and audit network policies to remote offices.
• Routing/Switching Consistency: Ensure global consistency and troubleshoot issues.
• Device Configuration: Configure and manage routers, firewalls, and switches.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Configure and document failover/disaster recovery plans.
• Network Monitoring: Ensure and document network logging and monitoring systems.
• Incident Tracking: Log incidents and resolutions, contributing to a knowledge base.
• Application Testing Support: Assist with testing new software releases.
• Software/Hardware Expertise: Maintain expertise in standard software and hardware.
• User Training: Provide individual and group instruction on equipment and software.

• Project Support: Assist with project information and provide updates to the Network Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic and calculations.
• Networking Expertise: Advanced knowledge of telecommunications and data networks.
• Coordination Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with various teams.
• Technology Proficiency: Expertise in project management, database, presentation, and word processing software.
• Relevant Certifications: Cisco, Palo Alto, or MS Azure certifications.
• SDWAN/SASE Experience: (Plus)
