Roodepoort: Systems Analyst L2 – Contract

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Analyst with at least 3 to 4 years of Tier 2 systems engineering experience. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions. Expertise in Responsibilities Provide Tier 2 support and advanced troubleshooting for infrastructure systems. Design and implement solutions across Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure platforms. Administer and optimize Windows Server environments. Manage and maintain Dell storage and backup systems. Oversee virtualization infrastructure using VMWare. Support and maintain Cisco UCS server infrastructure. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching, including SD-WAN technologies. Administer Mimecast email security and archiving. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess system requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Document system architecture, configurations, and procedures. Participate in strategic planning and infrastructure projects. Experience Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in systems engineering at Tier 2 level. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure (non-negotiable). Strong experience with Dell storage and backup solutions. Solid understanding of Windows Server administration. Expertise in VMWare virtualization. Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS and enterprise hardware. Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching, including SD-WAN. Experience with Mimecast email security. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Qualifications Matric and a relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP). Experience in enterprise-scale IT environments. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management tools.
