A leading Cape Town based engineering consultancy specializing in predominantly Industrial projects is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical/Instrument Design Engineer. 

Responsibilities

• Assessing and preparing Fee Proposals
• Performing Detailed Engineering Design and Specifications
• Developing Schedules of Quantities
• Creating Tender Documentation and participating in Tender Adjudication
• Handling Contract Documentation
• Project Management, including cost control, payment certificates, project scheduling, and recording of minutes
• Testing and Commissioning
• Creating As-built documentation and drawings
• Conducting initial audits to ascertain the Scope of work

Requirements

• Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng in Electrical or equivalent
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and drafting
• Experience using MS Project for project scheduling
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in electrical/instrumentation design
• Experience in Waste Water Treatment Works, Petrochemical and the Food Industry are highly desirable

Benefits 

• Salary: R750K/yr – R1M/yr, negotiable
