Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Draughtsperson to join their team. They are looking for candidates based in KwaZulu Natal, Gauteng and the Western Cape. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing concept, tender, and detailed technical engineering drawings for a variety of commercial buildings, including offices, hospitals, shopping centers, data centers, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Produce concept, tender, and detailed technical mechanical and electrical engineering drawings for commercial buildings.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Utilize Revit MEP or Building Services software to create and modify drawings.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Provide technical support and assistance as required.
• Coordinate with other disciplines such as architecture and structural engineering to ensure cohesive design solutions.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Draughting or a higher qualification.
• Experience in Revit MEP or Building Services will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and services, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and emergency systems, is an advantage.
• Understanding of mechanical systems and services, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, is an advantage.
