FIVE-STAR, LODGE MANAGER / HOUSEKEEPER : Luxury Estate, Franschhoek We are seeking an experienced and highly professional 5-star Housekeeper / Lodge Manager to take full responsibility for the daily operations of a newly built 5-bedroom luxury lodge situated on a prestigious Franschhoek Estate. Property Overview: • Newly completed 5-bedroom Luxury Lodge • Designed to accommodate both high-end leisure guests and small corporate functions Position Overview: • Accommodation is provided on the estate as part of the package • Extensive Luxury Lodge / Accommodation Management experience essential • Start-day: January 2026 • This is an ideal position for a retired or senior individual with extensive experience in luxury hospitality. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of lodge presentation and guest services, ensuring that the property maintains its expected 5-star standards at all times. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in mentoring staff, perfecting detail, and delivering exceptional hospitality. The role requires exceptional organisational skills, discretion, and a commitment to a high level of service. Key Requirements: • Preferably a retired or senior individual with extensive experience in luxury hospitality. • Proven ability to select, train, and supervise housekeeping staff. • Strong knowledge of 5-star service standards and the ability to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Excellent organisational, communication, and guest-relations skills. • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. • Ability to manage the lodge to the level required for corporate retreats and small exclusive events.
