About the Role
Our client, a well-established and reputable business based in Bloemfontein, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team. This role is ideal for an energetic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can build and maintain strong client relationships, promote products effectively, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive sales growth
- Promote and sell the company’s products to meet or exceed sales targets
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory
- Manage customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve complaints in a professional manner
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates to management
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and administration, to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies
- Participate in marketing initiatives, trade shows, and promotional events as required
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and agreements
Requirements
- Matric
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in sales, preferably in the food, meat, or FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, customer service, and relationship management
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Willingness to travel locally for client visits and deliveries
- Professional and presentable appearance
