About the Role
We are looking for a Facility Operations & Events Officer to support the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office environments while owning the logistical preparation and coordination of the company’s events. This role ensures that our facilities run efficiently and that events are executed with structure, preparation, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day facilities and office operations to ensure a clean, safe, and functional environment
- Coordinate inventory, procurement processes, and supplier relationships
- Provide operational and administrative support to the People Support team
- Prepare and manage event logistics, including packing lists and material preparation
- Manage event ticketing administration and recognition lists
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and transport logistics for events
- Support on-site event execution, including venue and service provider coordination
- Complete post-event reconciliation and documentation
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in office coordination, facilities support, event logistics or administration
- Experience coordinating vendors or suppliers
- Exposure to inventory or stock management
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting high-volume or member-facing events will be advantageous
Qualifications
National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) – required
Diploma in Office Administration, Event Management, or Hospitality – advantageous
