Job Summary
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements and be able to fill the subsequent responsibilities:
Skills and requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Qualified Fitter or Fitter & Turner.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in the building, testing, debugging, installation and commissioning of packaging machines (experience on liquid packaging machines preferred).
- Must be a team player as well as have the ability to work independently.
- Must be willing to work overtime and travel nationally as well as internationally as required.
- Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic fault finding, as well as tig welding of stainless steel will be to the candidates advantage.
- Valid drivers license Code B
Key
Responsibilities:
- Assembly of packaging machines according to engineering drawings & specifications.
- Setup, fault finding and testing of machines.
- Installation and commissioning of machines on customer premises until full signoff by customer.
- Fault finding & maintenance on machines and after sales/ customer support assistance.
- Responsible for quality inspections of manufactured machines.
