Job Summary
To commence: 01 January 2025
REQUIREMENTS:
B Ed Foundation Phase or PGCE
Must be able to teach in Afrikaans and English
Minimum of 8 years` experience
ExpeRIence workng in a remedial an advantage
Knowledge of and expeirence with ADD, ADHD etc is important
HOURS: 07h00 14h30 No extra Murals
School follows the GDE school terms
REMUNERATION:
R15 000 per month
R180 000 per year
Our client is a small, independent dual-medium remedial school with only 40 learners in total
Class size is maximum 10 learners.
They specialise in helping the learner with ADHD/ ADD/ Dyslexia or on the Autistic Spectrum.
It is the ideal position for a person that is passionate about teaching but main stream school does not work for them due to the overfull classes and admin responsibilities. We have no extra mural activities and teachers go home at 2pm.
The position offers a person that is enthusiastic, creative and is willing to teach learners that have barriers to learning. Our client gives a free range of what teaching method works for you.
We follow the CAPS curriculum and all learning materials is provided, although it is expected that you work out your own lesson plans.
