Job Summary

This position is critical for overseeing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that the organization secures the best value for products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers while negotiating contracts for optimal pricing and terms.
  • Manage supplier performance to ensure quality and delivery timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast purchasing needs and support inventory management.
  • Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify new sourcing opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior procurement staff.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to management as needed.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years experience in Buying, Supervision, Construction, Civil, Building, and Roads
  • Buildsmart, CCS
  • Supervision of buying team
  • Procurement / Buying qualification
  • Self-starter, independent, team player
  • Proactive, dedicated, takes initiative, out-of-the-box thinker
