Vedanta is a $30bn revenue and $10bn in profit organization and further plans to invest $20bn in 4-5 years time in the expansion of their brownfield and some greenfield capacity of Oil & Gas, renewable energy, display glass, semiconductors, mining, and smelting.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
-
Responsible for inspections, raising and investigating incidents.
-
Training and coaching on environmental topics.
-
Analyze data and raise tasks if anomalies are observed.
-
Maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS).
-
Resource data capturing and report writing.
-
Initiate projects to improve environmental performance.
-
Understand and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
-
College or University qualification in a natural science field.
-
3 years prior experience in environmental management or environmental sciences.
-
Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
-
A valid Code E/EB drivers license is required.
-
Must be able to obtain a Certificate of Medical Fitness.
OUR SELECTION CRITERIA:

Remuneration will be according to qualifications and experience and will include competitive conditions of employment.

Preference will be given to EE Candidates.
