This permanent role offers the opportunity to lead a well-equipped workshop and take ownership of the technical and operational performance of the team. Youll work closely with workshop staff, technicians, and service teams to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity. This opportunity lies within a structured, high-volume commercial vehicle workshop environment servicing heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and coordinate the daily workshop operations for commercial vehicles and equipment. Supervise and mentor diesel mechanics and technical support staff. Conduct job card reviews, monitor repair quality, and ensure adherence to service standards. Schedule and prioritise repair and maintenance tasks based on urgency and client needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and productive working environment. Manage workshop productivity KPIs, timekeeping, and job allocation. Perform diagnostic checks and provide technical guidance when necessary. Communicate effectively with service advisors and workshop admin regarding job progress, completion, and challenges.
