Cape Town City Centre: RPA Tester/UI Path Tester – 12 month contract – Start ASAP- Cape Town- Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced RPA Tester/UI Path Tester with a strong focus on UiPath for testing and monitoring automated processes. This role will be responsible for executing, reviewing, and analysing UiPath-generated scripts, ensuring the functionality of applications across the platform. Responsibilities: Performing quality assurance (QA) to validate the functionality of UiPath automated workflows. Linking test cases to business and system requirements for traceability. Executing regression test cases to ensure consistent performance of automated processes. Logging defects and creating test artifacts such as test scripts, test data, and test logs. Providing feedback for test optimization and continuous process improvements within the UiPath automation pipeline Analyses test failures within the environment & collaborating with team members to find solutions. Analyses and develops the proper RPA test coverage with the assigned development Analyses metrics for quality assessment & management with Test Lead May work with Business Analyst to influence and monitor User Acceptance Testing. Tracking and monitoring of errors and test results with project team Requirements: Minimum of 2 years manual testing experience Minimum of 3-year RPA Testing experience Testing certification (ISTQB Foundation certificate as advantage) Experience in software testing methodologies (agile, waterfall, functional and non-functional), test planning, test case development and execution of test cases Experience in developing test cases and test scenarios from use cases and/or requirements specifications. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail. Possesses good understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance concepts across the SDLC and the TDLC Understands test metrics and how they are used for decision support Has experience with Requirements Management, Test Management and Defect Management Tool Provides input to continuously improve test methodology Reviews functional requirements, Defines test scenarios Traces coverage and clearance Provides input to standard test metrics and reporting Prioritize defect management with development team Knowledge: Standard Ui Path Studio knowledge. Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence/Xray) System Development Life Cycle and Test Development Lifecycle. Methods, standards and techniques supporting domain Best practices in domain Defect management Good working knowledge of testing best practices and frameworks Insurance Applications knowledge an advantage.
