The Mid-Level Enterprise Architect will support the organisation in driving the development and implementation of data governance and knowledge management strategies. The role focuses on aligning organisational processes, policies, and frameworks with broader strategic directives to ensure effective data management and institutional knowledge practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering processes, including stakeholder engagement, documentation, communication, and change management aligned to organisational strategies
- Review existing data management policies and strategies, identifying gaps and recommending improvements aligned with best practices
- Support the establishment and formal implementation of data governance structures, including:
- Defining roles and responsibilities
- Developing terms of reference
- Coordinating governance forums and workshops
- Establishing reporting mechanisms
- Develop and formalise data taxonomies, including:
- Data dictionary creation
- Data asset inventory management
- Design and develop a Knowledge Management maturity roadmap aligned to organisational directives
- Ensure alignment of all deliverables with enterprise architecture principles and governance frameworks
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Enterprise Architecture, or related field
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role (mid-level)
Strong experience in:
- Data Governance frameworks and implementation
- Enterprise Architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent)
- Policy analysis and development
- Knowledge Management frameworks
- Experience in large or complex organisational environments will be advantageous
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills

Additional Information
- The role requires full-time, on-site presence
