Our dynamic client who is focused on organisation growth within the feed additives industry is looking for a highly motivated Field Services Technician to join their team. The responsibilities associated with this job may change from time to time in accordance with the Company’s business needs. The incumbent may be required to perform additional and/or different responsibilities from those set forth above. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and business partners by driving customer service excellence. Monitor competitive activity in each account and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated in conjunction with the Sales Manager. Advise management of changes in competition, product availability, or related matters. Stay up to date with market trends, feedback findings and business opportunities to the management team. Liaise with customers and provide regular status updates and feedback on deliveries. Submit proposals/quotations to customers and ensure accurate orders are submitted on time. Follow up and resolve customer complaints/queries in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure compliance with required industry regulations, quality standards, and safety. Maintain Good Housekeeping Practices in area of responsibility. Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 plus relevant technical degree or diploma (Chemical, Mechanical) Minimum of 4 years’ technical experience; previous experience working with dosing systems is advantageous. This position will support, promote, and grow Bitek’s business, which requires extensive travel. Attributes: Unique blend of business and technical savvy.
