Centurion: (OEM Level) Commercial Vehicles Sales Specialist – Pre-Owned – Gauteng, Centurion posted by Select Motor Recruitment

• Drive and support Pre-Owned sales through the commercial partner and dealer network
• Assist with Pre-Owned sales volume setting and achievement
• Introduce new clients to the brand through used truck opportunities
• Maintain and grow relationships with customers, suppliers, dealers and internal stakeholders
• Conduct a minimum of 8 joint customer visits per month with completed visit reports

Inventory, Operations & Reporting

• Support used truck inventory management and aged inventory reduction
• Assist with trade-in, buyback and tradeback vehicle inspections and condition assessments
• Provide sales and technical support relating to pre-owned commercial vehicle solutions
• Act as liaison for information sharing and strategic implementation across the dealer network
• Prepare accurate weekly and monthly reports for the relevant Manager

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification or technical degree in a motor-related field
• Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in a similar role within the Commercial Vehicle Industry, preferably with a competitor in SACU or the Southern Africa right-hand-drive region
• Pre-Owned experience and knowledge of the pre-owned commercial vehicle market, including multi-brand product price points
• Motor Industry experience Essential!

Customer Network & Tools:

• Own database of current Pre-Owned customers in South Africa or export markets is mandatory
• Good computer skills are required, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in facilitation, coaching, training or presentations will be advantageous
