Durban: PowerBI and SQL Developer

Requirements: Must have an analytical mindset and be able to pull data and work on reports remotely and on own basis. Strong SOP and Documentation skills and ability to work with DevOps or GitHub advantageous. Must be able to speak to users at their level and understand business problems and terminology once learned. Must be able to work independently and proactively. Specifics: 5 to 8 years experience. Power BI Development and Administration Report and SQL Security SQL Querying SSRS Report development Excel development ADVANTAGEOUS: SSAS Development ADVANTAGEOUS: AI skills with RAG ADVANTAGEOUS: Certification in Power BI & OR SQL HOURS: 20 hours a week (more to follow based on customer interest) The role is remote-based and the team must have their own hardware. A weekly meeting will be held and ideally the person will be based in the greater Durban area, although anywhere in SA can work as well.
