Durban: Retail Promotions Controller – Contract for 6-12 months (NAMIBIA) posted by Mecad Systems

• Manage regional promotions to support Major Retailer’s overall marketing strategy and targets.
• Work closely with Category Managers, National Promotions Controllers, retailers and the Regional Marketing Committee.
• Ensure promotional leaflets and supporting digital content are accurate, complete and delivered on time.
• Provide National Promotions Controllers with all required information according to agreed standards.

Minimum requirements:

• NQF Level 5 Marketing qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ marketing experience
• Computer literate and comfortable with new digital systems
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
• Retail experience required; hardware experience preferred
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Duties include:

• Coordinate regional marketing meetings and promotions
• Manage promotional orders, schedules and marketing plans.
• Coordinate digital promotions, social media and Point-of Sale materials
• Maintain accurate promotional data and systems.
• Liaise with retailers, buyers and Category Managers
• Resolve queries and provide timely feedback
• Ensure promotional deadlines and critical paths are met
• Ensure accurate marketing material is delivered to stores on time
