A well-established company in the fluid power industry is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join its Durban branch.
Minimum Requirements

Matric with Mathematics and Science.

Valid driver’s licence.

Own reliable vehicle (essential).

Must currently reside in the Durban area.
-
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience within the Fluid Power industry.

Technical and mechanical background.
-
Hydraulic and/or Pneumatics qualification through a MerSETA-accredited training provider.
-
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience is advantageous.
-
Relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
-
Knowledge of the SYSPRO ERP system is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities

Achieve annual gross profit and sales targets.

Manage and grow an existing customer base through regular customer visits.

Identify and secure new business opportunities.
-
Prepare accurate quotations and ensure customer enquiries are handled efficiently.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Prepare sales reports and attend sales meetings.
-
Assist with tenders where applicable.
-
Liaise with engineering and workshop teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Maintain high levels of customer service.

Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.
