Job Summary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric with mathematics
- Minimum of 10 years management experience in citrus, preferably obtained on more than one farm/location.
- Ability to both compile and work to a budget.
- Previous packhouse experience advantageous
- Experience with Degreening/ Electronic grading/Packing standards/Logistics/working with export agents advantageous
- Computer literate
- Excellent attention to detail with good results at present employer.
- A strong knowledge of production, harvest, irrigation, spraying, pruning, fertilization, and general orchard management.
- Strong Inter person relations with good communication and people skills.
- Ability to work with a large labor force, to motivate and get good productivity
- A strong work ethic and leading by example
- A clear criminal record and with no criminal cases pending.
- Valid drivers license
