About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Finance Transaction Leader to join our client’s team in Gauteng. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive financial models, analyzing complex transactions, and providing strategic guidance to clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of each project, including the client’s business and transaction objectives
- Set the strategic direction of transactions and allocate appropriate resources to achieve optimal outcomes
- Analyse and interpret clients’ financial performance
- Prepare thoroughly for meetings and facilitate client and investor discussions
- Conduct all necessary follow-ups with stakeholders
- Guide parties in exploring suitable and commercially viable deal structures
- Generate indicative offers and evaluate value drivers to maximise outcomes
- Communicate effectively between clients, investors, and specialist advisors
- Negotiate commercially acceptable transaction structures between parties
- Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership
- Maintain detailed records and ensure accurate CRM updates following all discussions and meetings
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Qualified or Partly Qualified (advantageous)
- Corporate finance experience gained within an accounting firm, corporate finance boutique, advisory environment, or similar (advantageous)
- Strong accounting knowledge and financial analysis capability
