About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Finance Transaction Leader to join our client’s team in Gauteng. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive financial models, analyzing complex transactions, and providing strategic guidance to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive understanding of each project, including the client’s business and transaction objectives
Set the strategic direction of transactions and allocate appropriate resources to achieve optimal outcomes
Analyse and interpret clients’ financial performance
Prepare thoroughly for meetings and facilitate client and investor discussions
Conduct all necessary follow-ups with stakeholders
Guide parties in exploring suitable and commercially viable deal structures
Generate indicative offers and evaluate value drivers to maximise outcomes
Communicate effectively between clients, investors, and specialist advisors
Negotiate commercially acceptable transaction structures between parties
Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership
Maintain detailed records and ensure accurate CRM updates following all discussions and meetings

Requirements

Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Qualified or Partly Qualified (advantageous)
Corporate finance experience gained within an accounting firm, corporate finance boutique, advisory environment, or similar (advantageous)
Strong accounting knowledge and financial analysis capability
