1. Suitable Bachelor’s Degree
2. A postgraduate qualification or Master’s Degree will be advantageous
3. 5–10 years’ procurement experience within the agricultural industry
4. Experience evaluating and sourcing technical products and services
5. Exposure to the grains and oilseed sector 
6. Experience working with SAP or other ERP procurement systems 

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for technical goods and services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Analyse market trends and identify opportunities to improve procurement strategies
• Lead commercial negotiations to achieve the best value, considering quality, service, innovation, and total cost of ownership
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks while supporting supplier performance and sustainability initiatives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal teams to ensure contractual compliance with business policies and regulatory requirements
• Resolve supplier performance issues and manage contract-related escalations
• Analyse procurement spend, prepare reports, and monitor key procurement performance indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal governance and procurement policies
• Create and manage Purchase Orders and procurement contracts within an ERP system
