Senior Fund Accountant

Sandton | Full-Time | Office-Based
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join a leading investment environment.
This opportunity is suited to a current Fund Accountant with solid Private Equity experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.

What we’re looking for:

• BCom Honours in Accounting (essential)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Fund Accounting
• Current experience within a Private Equity environment (essential)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and fund accounting principles
• Experience preparing NAVs, investor reporting, management accounts and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Sage Pastel or similar accounting systems is advantageous

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the full fund accounting function
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Calculate and review Net Asset Values (NAVs)
• Perform fund, bank and investment reconciliations
• Prepare investor reporting and capital account statements
• Support audits, tax compliance and regulatory reporting
• Maintain strong financial controls and reporting accuracy
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to support investment transactions and portfolio reporting

Please note:

• This is an office-based role in Sandton.
• We are specifically looking for current Fund Accountants from the Private Equity sector.
• BCom Honours qualification is essential.
