About the Role
Phakisa Holdings is seeking a **Shipping Clerk** in **Heidelburg**, a permanent position. The role involves tracking and updating shipments, preparing container stock, reconciling supplier orders, and managing import/export documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Track and update shipments and delivery dates.
- Prepare container stock with suppliers.
- Update supplier invoices and documentation.
- Reconcile and validate supplier orders.
- Complete import/export documentation.
- Perform stock transfers.
- Liaise with Stock controllers daily.
- Update container deliveries and transfers.
- Book container loadings.
- Create and capture shipping cost sheets.
- Work with GRN's.
- Arrange cover for shipments.
- Obtain freight estimates.
- Arrange courier services for stock, parts, and samples.
- Liaise with couriers and suppliers daily.
- Liaise with warehouse controllers daily.
- Monitor delivery dates to ensure efficiency.
- Submit payment requests.
- Submit customs documentation.
- Work with foreign currency conversions.
- Provide general assistance to the National Consumables Manager.
Requirements
