Our client, an established metals recycling and refining operation based in the Gauteng East Rand area, is looking for a hands-on, detail-driven individual to join their team as an Internal Sales & Production Support Consultant.This is a production-floor role within a refinery environment it is not a desk-based, IT, or technical helpdesk position. You’ll be working directly with metal materials and raw stock, lab scanning equipment, stock control, and customer deliveries on a daily basis. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a hands-on, physically active, fast-paced production setting and enjoys variety across refinery, sales, and logistics functions.What You’ll Be DoingRefinery & Production (40%)Booking in refining material received from suppliersWeighing and photographing material before and after the melt processAssaying material using specialised XRF (X-ray fluorescence) scanning equipmentMaintaining strict regulatory compliance throughout the production processUploading photographic records to the company’s internal driveEnsuring assays of alloys and pre-alloys stay within required parametersPerforming daily calibration checks on scanning equipment and managing related consumable stockInternal Sales (40%)Conducting regular stock takes and reconciliations on metals, findings, and tools in line with company requirementsSupporting internal sales processes.
