The Regional Financial Controller will maintain rigorous financial controls across multiple regional sites for ,a leading organization in the retail, and wholesale sectors.

Duties:

Enforce strong financial controls across the region, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit standards

Manage and review emergency payments and buyouts, ensuring proper authorization and documentation

Oversee petty cash submissions and audit petty cash floats at regional sites

Supervise document flow to Accounts Payable, maintaining accuracy and timeliness

Administer insurance claims and fleet card management
-
Ensure proper filing and recordkeeping aligned with audit standards

Lead regional stock control, ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity
-
Coordinate and execute stocktakes, managing systems, reconciliation, and variance investigations
-
Oversee Goods in Transit processes for accurate tracking and reconciliation
-
Verify Fixed Assets, maintaining records and compliance with asset management policies
-
Prepare CAPEX forms and ensure approval documentation is complete
-
Oversee financial Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) for accuracy
-
Prepare Purchase Orders for non-stock items, ensuring controls are maintained
-
Enforce procurement and financial policy compliance across the region

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors
-
Manage end-to-end financial administration for various channels and portfolios
-
Maintain comprehensive documentation, reconciliations, and audit trails
-
Support statutory, management, and ESG reporting requirements
-
Provide backup support for finance functions during peak periods or absences
-
Monitor stocktake activities, including scanner administration and variance reporting
-
Manage contracts and related documentation efficiently
-
Deliver financial insights to operational management

Assist with audit preparations and respond to queries
-
Escalate systemic issues and financial risks proactively
Requirements:

4 to 8 years of relevant financial experience

Strong knowledge of analysis, asset management, and stakeholder management

Excellent communication skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex processes

Proven track record in compliance and control environments

Experience with inventory and asset verification, stock control, and financial reconciliation

Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools

Formal qualifications in finance, accounting, or related fields
