Hoedspruit: Senior Support & Relief Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Support & Relief Consultant to join our high-performing team of safari consultants. This is a senior behind-the-scenes enablement role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for Africa and conservation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the quoting function, building accurate, margin-conscious itinerary costings from complex rate sheets
• Seamlessly step in to manage consultant desks during periods of leave
• Play a hands-on role in systems management and process implementation
• Load confirmed bookings into Tourplan
• Oversee teammates’ desks during consultant leave (sick, annual, or educational) and manage requotes/proposals
• Support system implementation and testing of new procedures
• Assist with following up with dead leads during quiet periods
• Capacity-based lead nurturing for conversion

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years inbound tour consulting experience preferably in the American market
• Knowledge of Tourplan, SafariPortal, Hubspot, and G Suite/Microsoft systems
• Strong knowledge of Southern & East Africa, including logistics, experiences per region, and product knowledge
• Passionate about sharing love for Africa, its incredible wildlife, and conservation to support communities
• Administration-focused with proficiency in Excel calculations, attention to detail, and questioning mind
• Adaptable and resilient under pressure
